About us

We can offer your festival a complete daytime and night time live music venue, powered entirely by renewable energy.

This includes a fully decorated 300 people capacity marquee, PA system, lighting, our own solar & wind power sources, an experienced team of sound engineers, stage management, bands, performers and a café serving delicious and unique hot & cold drinks and light meals.

Our marquee is a beautiful, high quality British-made canvas affair.  It is fire retardant and waterproof, and can be put up in three different sizes;

3 poles: 23m x 9m (75’ x 30’) (our usual set up)

2 poles: 16m x 9m (52’ x 30’)

1 pole: 9m diameter (30’)

Our PA is carefully matched to our power supply with a 24 channel desk and a dedicated experienced team of sound engineers. Our lights are colourful energy efficient computer controlled LEDs.  We go to town decorating the inside of the tent to create a warm, atmospheric space with colourful drapery and stunning painted artwork. This is being revamped this year with a range of beautiful canvas hangings based on celtic animal themes, hares and stags.

Our power comes from 1650W of solar panels and a 90w truck-mounted wind turbine.  We have a great solar tracker system that stands outside the venue following the sun throughout the day, so people can really see where the power is coming from.

Our café provides fabulous and affordable sustenance, for example homemade chai, fresh coffee, fabulous homemade cakes, soups, tapas-style snacks and sometimes sweet & savoury pancakes prepared to order.  Everything is organic and fairtrade wherever possible and always extremely delicious.

We have contacts with some world-class festival bands, musicians and performers encompassing a wide range of styles, to provide the right line up for your event, day and night.

Tent hire - we can also hire our marquee on its own, or with décor, lighting, red or black blackout lining (great for talks or cinema spaces).  Please contact us to discuss details and prices.

As this will be our 10th festival season we’re professional, experienced, pretty self-sufficient and have all our paperwork in order (insurance, safety certificates, risk assessments etc).  We are now planning for our 2015 season. Please contact us to discuss your requirements; we look forward to hearing from you.

We are a Not for Profit Collective working as volunteers for the love of it.
